about me

I am a person who believes in experimentation, and I hope my work shows that. I am interested in poetry, music, photography, art, literature, programming, web design, simulation, artificial intelligence,conflict and war studies, language design, boardgame design, recreational and computational mathematics, and science, among many other things.
Mixing these different fields with each other occupies much of my free time, and this web site is a by-product of that. I make no claims onoriginality, but I hope that you can find something interesting in these pages.

Professionally, I work in computers. I have been involved in a few start-ups, but those didn't really go anywhere. Academically, I hold a B.S. in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence with Honors College Distinction from SUNY Oswego, where I graduated magna cum laude. I recieved a few awards for my work in college, including the 2012 Outstanding Computer Science Senior award (co-recipient), the 2012 Dean's Writing award in Computer Science (formy honors thesis on algorithmic composition), and the 2012 Best Computer Science Presentation at the Annual QUEST Symposium (for a presentation on silica, my musical modelling language).
